Early Education Group / Multi-Brand Portfolio

i9 Education Group

One group, three trusted early learning brands.

Behind The Fern, The Hive, and Community Kids Haven sits i9 Education — the group needed a site of its own to unify the brands for families, franchisees, and future team members.

Project Overview

Where the project began

Background

i9 Education operates multiple early learning brands, each with a distinct identity, but lacked a single place to tell the group's own story — its scale, values, and the trust behind every centre brand.

Objectives

Build a group-level site that credibly represents the portfolio, helps visitors find the right brand and centre, and supports recruitment across the network — without diluting any individual brand's identity.

Audience

Prospective families exploring which brand fits them, jobseekers considering the group as an employer, and potential franchise or partnership enquiries.

The Challenge

What we were solving for

The site needed to represent multiple distinct brands fairly, without favoring one or flattening their differences

Trust signals (scale, experience, values) needed to be genuine and specific, not generic corporate claims

Careers and recruitment needed a clear, credible presence alongside the parent-facing content

The architecture had to support adding future brands without a structural rebuild

Discovery & Strategy

Planning before a single pixel

Mapped the distinct audiences a group-level site serves — parents, jobseekers, and potential partners — and their differing priorities

Reviewed each sibling brand's identity to design a group UI that complements rather than competes with them

Planned a "brands" architecture that scales cleanly if the group adds a new centre network later

Structured a careers section built for real recruitment, not just a token page

Design Process

Building the visual language

A confident, neutral charcoal base with the group's signature green as the unifying accent

A clean "Our Brands" showcase that gives each sibling brand its own visual space

Trust-building sections (scale, experience, values) presented with restraint rather than overstatement

Consistent component language with the sibling-brand sites, so the family relationship is visually legible

Development

Engineering it properly

Built on Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS, sharing architecture patterns with the group's brand-level sites

A brand-agnostic content model that can onboard a new centre network without re-platforming

A centre locator that spans all brands in the group from a single search

Deployed on AWS alongside sibling sites for consistent performance across the whole portfolio
